Visually spectacular & narratively great, The Batman never ceases to surprise. While, slow at times, its 3-hour runtime is easily forgiven thanks to its high-paced action and slow built suspense..
Bruce Wayne, only a 2 year batman, still struggling to fulfill his father's legacy, which was to bring the city of Gotham up onto its own two feet. But when a mysterious riddler tries to tarnish all that Bruce has of his family, he must choose whether to be better then what was given to him, or to remain the same.
This movie handled its thematic ideas wonderfully. Although, I do wish, at times they spent a little more time fleshing out other characters, its 3-hour runtime was well spent.
Batman ventures into Gotham City's underworld when a sadistic killer leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator's plans become clear, he must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued the metropolis.
