Hints of something good; but fell flat on its own antlers.

As someone who loves dark horror stories, I was really disappointed with this one. It had all the set up to be a mysterious, drama/horror filled narrative about a broken down woman attemping to fight off the evils of her abusive father, reincarnated as a wendigo (symbolically of course). And well it sort of was.

But it failed to bring that idea into actuality. With terrible flashbacks and awkward dialogue, the story failed to deliver on its promises. Leaving it a, fun at times, predictable horror movie, stuck in the antlers of the folklore it tried to bring to life.
